Responsible AI use and content guidelines · GrowthAgents AI, Inc. · Effective January 1, 2025 · Last updated August 8, 2026
1. Our Commitment to Responsible AI
GrowthAgents is committed to the responsible and ethical use of artificial intelligence in content creation. This policy outlines how we use AI, what safeguards we employ, and what responsibilities users have when using AI-generated content. We believe AI should augment human creativity and expertise, not replace professional judgment. Our AI tools are designed to assist, not substitute for, human oversight in professional communications.
2. AI Technologies We Use
2.1 Content Generation
- Claude (Anthropic): Primary AI for text generation. Purpose: blog posts, articles, social media content, meta descriptions. Anthropic does not retain API inputs for training; see anthropic.com/policies.
2.2 Image Generation
- DALL-E 3 (OpenAI): AI image generation for featured images and social graphics. Guidelines: no faces, no text/typography, photorealistic style only. See openai.com/policies for API data usage.
2.3 Research and Analysis
- Perplexity AI: Topic research and trending content discovery. Research queries do not include client-identifying information.
3. Content Quality Standards
3.1 E-E-A-T Framework
All AI-generated content follows Google's E-E-A-T guidelines: Experience (reflects real-world experience relevant to the topic), Expertise (demonstrates subject-matter knowledge appropriate to the industry), Authoritativeness (positions the client as a trusted source), and Trustworthiness (accurate, properly sourced, and includes necessary disclaimers).
3.2 Accuracy and Sources
- Citation of external sources where appropriate
- Links to authoritative references (government sites, official sources)
- No inclusion of competitor links or mentions
- Fact-checking prompts built into our AI workflows
Important: AI can produce inaccurate information. Clients must review all content before publication.
3.3 Compliance Checks
- Industry-specific compliance guidelines (legal, medical, financial)
- Required disclaimers automatically included
- Detection and removal of potentially problematic claims
- QA review before content enters the publishing queue
4. Content Ownership and Copyright
4.1 Who Owns AI-Generated Content
- You receive full ownership rights to all Output Content upon generation
- You may use, modify, publish, and distribute the content without restriction
- GrowthAgents retains no ownership claims to your generated content
- No royalties or attribution to GrowthAgents is required
4.2 Copyright Considerations
- AI-generated content may not be eligible for copyright protection in all jurisdictions
- The US Copyright Office currently requires human authorship for registration
- Your review and editing of AI content may establish copyrightable elements
- We recommend consulting legal counsel for copyright-sensitive applications
4.3 Third-Party Rights
You are responsible for ensuring AI-generated content does not infringe third-party copyrights, trademarks, or other IP rights; use protected phrases, slogans, or branding without authorization; reproduce substantial portions of copyrighted works; or violate any individual's right of publicity or privacy.
5. AI Disclosure Guidelines
5.1 Recommended Disclosures
- Author byline: "[Author Name] with AI assistance"
- Footer disclosure: "This content was created with the assistance of AI technology and reviewed by [Firm Name]."
- Website policy: Add AI content disclosure to your website's editorial policy
5.2 Regulatory Requirements
Some jurisdictions and industries may require AI disclosure — FTC guidelines recommend disclosure of AI in commercial content, some state bar associations have issued guidance, and healthcare content may have specific requirements. Consult your compliance advisor regarding disclosure requirements specific to your industry and jurisdiction.
6. Prohibited Uses of AI Content
You may NOT use our AI services to generate deceptive content intended to mislead consumers; content impersonating specific individuals without consent; false testimonials or fabricated case results; content that violates professional ethics rules; hate speech, harassment, or discriminatory content; content promoting illegal activities; spam or mass-produced low-quality content; or content designed to manipulate search engines through deceptive practices.
7. Human Oversight Requirements
7.1 Review Before Publication
- All content should be reviewed by a qualified person before publication
- Approval workflows are available for clients who want explicit sign-off
- Auto-publish features should only be used for content that has been pre-approved
7.2 Professional Responsibility
- Legal content should be reviewed by a licensed attorney
- Medical content should be reviewed by a qualified healthcare professional
- Financial content should be reviewed by an appropriate financial professional
You remain professionally responsible for all content published under your name or your firm's name.
8. Data Privacy in AI Processing
8.1 What Data Is Processed
When generating content, our AI processes your business information (name, industry, practice areas, locations), your brand voice and style preferences, topic requirements and keywords, and content queue instructions. Generating content means sending this relevant business context to the AI providers listed above (Anthropic, OpenAI, and Perplexity). We do not send client confidential data — client lists, case information, or matter details — to any AI provider.
8.2 What Data Is NOT Shared
We do NOT share with AI providers your contact information (email, phone), your client lists or case information, payment or billing details, or OAuth tokens or credentials.
8.3 AI Provider Commitments
- Anthropic (Claude): States it does not train on API customer data (per its published API terms)
- OpenAI: States API data is not used for training (per its business API terms)
- Perplexity: Research queries are processed under Perplexity's API data policies; we do not include client-identifying information in queries
9. AI Limitations and Risks
- Hallucinations: AI may generate plausible-sounding but incorrect information
- Outdated Information: AI training data has a cutoff date and may not reflect current law or regulations
- Bias: AI may reflect biases present in training data
- Context Limitations: AI may miss nuances specific to your jurisdiction or practice
- No Legal/Medical/Financial Advice: AI content is informational only and does not constitute professional advice
These limitations reinforce the importance of human review before publication. Consistent with Section 9.1 of our Terms & Conditions, GrowthAgents does not guarantee any particular marketing outcome from AI-generated content — including search rankings, AI-engine citations, traffic, leads, or revenue.
10. Policy Updates
AI technology and regulation evolve rapidly. We will update this policy as needed to reflect changes in the AI technology we use, new regulatory requirements, updated best practices, and changes in AI provider policies. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 14 days before taking effect.
